Role: Privacy Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:
- OneTrust Support (L1/L2/L3): Provide multi-level operational support for OneTrust Consent & Preference Center environments, managing issues from initial investigation to resolution.
- Incident Management: Quickly address and troubleshoot incidents across league and club environments, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with data privacy policies
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to OneTrust configurations, workflows, and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Data Flow & Integration Management: Oversee data flows between OneTrust and other platforms, ensuring robust data integrations and compliance with data handling protocols.
- Configuration & Optimization: Support OneTrust configuration, making, adjustments to improve user experience, preference tracking, and consent management.
- Data Acceptance: Perform in-depth data comparison analysis between systems to identify data gaps and perform RCA for issues identified.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with privacy teams, engineering teams, and external vendors to maintain optimal system performance and alignment with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolution strategies; report on operational metrics and key performance indicators.
- Identify and resolve any performance issues.
- Keep up to date with new technology development and implementation.
- Overall, Team Management, Interviewing/Recruiting, and Performance Management of team members.
Must have:
- Experience: 6+ years in an operations or support role focused on incident management, RCA, and data analytics.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS).
- Experience with Consent & Preference Center data flows (preferably OneTrust).
- Proficient in integration protocols (APIs, ETL, Advance Python, SQL) and data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), multi-level operational support, knowledge of Consent & Preference Center environments.
- Coding Skills: Expert in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data integration and troubleshooting.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to perform root cause analysis, incident investigation, and resolution in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of explaining technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills Client-facing experience.
- Good aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills, ability to take ownership as appropriate.
- Create and review technical specifications and test plans
- Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals.
- Fast learner, ability to perform well in ambiguity and with little supervision
Good to have:
- Certifications: In OneTrust or other privacy management tools.
- Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and data engineering fundamentals.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with international privacy regulations and experience supporting systems for a global organization.
Education:
Minimum of 15 years of formal education – BE/BTech or Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
